Year 6 production of Shrek

After all of the hard work the children put in for their SATs, they began to work equally hard on their production of Shrek.  All of the children coped so well with the countless songs that they had to learn – as well as their own lines.  We are very, very proud of each and every one of them.  What a talented bunch!

The script was expertly written, the costumes were wonderfully professional and the songs were perfectly chosen.  This was all down to the Year 6 class teacher, Miss K Vale.  Miss Vale clearly went the extra mile and worked tirelessly through the night to ensure that the costumes and props were at a standard that the Hippodrome would have been envious of!  Fantastic work, Miss Vale!

Whilst the children all had their best singing voices finely tuned, they would not have been able to perform as well as they did without the expert timing of the music.  This was all down to Mr Doherty, who even had to create his own sound affects throughout the show.  Again, a fantastic job, Mr Doherty.
