School Vision & Ethos

At Gossey Lane we believe that children are better prepared for the future if they are equipped with the tools needed to enable them to become confident, independent, caring and emotionally intelligent individuals.

Through our values, we teach the children about the differences between making right and wrong decisions in life, and how the decisions they make can have an impact on others around them.

Each half term a new value is introduced to the children, during a whole school assembly. The values are then reinforced through a weekly class assembly and on a day to day basis. Children are encouraged to think of the values when they are faced with challenging decisions.

We display the values throughout school for all staff, visitors and pupils.
