Year 3 and 4 Stone Age Workshop
Year 3 and 4 had an incredible opportunity to learn all about the Stone Age, from the Paeleolithic all the way through to the Neolithic! The children experienced what life would've have been like; hunting for food, making and building fires, grinding wheat to make flour and so much more. How did the Stone Age people move the big rocks to make Stonehenge? We worked together to try out different methods and made our very own Schoolhenge. We were exhausted, life as a Stone Age person was very hard work! The day was finished off with a Woolly Mammoth hunt. We discovered that Stone Age people were actually quite clever in their hunting methods and by working together they could capture huge animals.
Thank you Past Presents for an amazing day!
