Year 4 Flute Lessons

Flute lessons are going strong in Year 4!  So far, we have learnt to place the mouth piece into the right place on our mouth and how to create a noise.  We then learnt how to connect the pieces together and how to hold the flute.

We have learnt to play the note ‘b’ on its own and to background music keeping to the beat.

Last term we were listening to Four Seasons by Vivaldi, we had to identify the different instruments, and which season was been played, each week. This term we are listening to The Planets by Holst, trying to identify which planet is being represented by the music.
