Preparation for Adulthood

At Gossey Lane, we are focussing on Preparation for Adulthood. The aim of this initiative is to equip pupils with essential skills for life beyond school. 

This initiative emphasises fostering independence and aligns with the academy's commitment to promoting British values and personal development. 

The development of these skills will ensure that students are well-prepared for adult responsibilities. The pupils were introduced to Preparation for Adulthood through an assembly and were all provided with Pupil Passports to track the development of these key skills at school and at home.
