Year 3 Birmingham Thinktank Trip

As part of our Science curriculum, Year 3 will be visiting Birmingham Thinktank on Thursday 12th February 2026. This exciting trip will provide the children with a hands-on learning experience to support their studies. The children will also be taking part in a Friction and Forces workshop during their visit.

Travel & Timings

• Children will leave school at approximately 9:00am and return by 3:15pm.
• We will be travelling by train.

Cost & Consent
A voluntary contribution of £12.50 is requested to cover the cost of the trip. Please make payment via Arbor by Friday 9^th January 2026. Your payment will also serve as consent for your child to attend.
This payment deadline is in line with the venue’s cancellation policy.

Lunch Arrangements
If your child receives Free School Meals or you would like to order a paid packed lunch from school, please place the order as usual with your child’s Class Teacher. Otherwise, please provide a packed lunch from home, including a drink (no cans or glass bottles, please).

Clothing
Children must wear full school uniform and dress appropriately for the weather. Please ensure they have a warm, waterproof coat and suitable footwear.
