Reception - Ash End Farm Trip

As part of our ‘Understanding the World’ topic, Reception will be visiting Ash End Farm on Thursday 21st May 2026. The children are in for a fantastic day at the farm! Their visit will begin with an exciting guided tour, where they’ll meet a wide range of farm animals up close and discover fascinating facts about how they live and grow. After the tour, the children will have the chance to freely explore the farm’s attractions, giving them even more opportunities to investigate, play, and deepen their understanding of the world around them.

- Cost: £12.50 per child
- Arrival Time: Leaving Gossey Lane Academy at 9:15am to arrive for 10am
- Departure Time: Leaving Ash End Farm at 2:30pm to arrive for 3:15pm

What to Bring and Wear: 
- Full school Uniform
- Sun Hat

As part of the Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) scheme, your child will be provided with a school packed lunch.

To help cover the cost of this enriching experience, we kindly ask for a voluntary contribution of £12.50, payable via Arbor by Tuesday 21st April 2026. This deadline aligns with the provider’s cancellation policy, ensuring we can offer refunds if the trip cannot go ahead due to insufficient contributions.
