Year 2 - Warwick Castle Trip
Hear Ye, Hear Ye! A Royal Adventure Awaits Year 2!
On Wednesday 20th May 2026, our brave Year 2 pupils are invited on a grand quest to the magnificent Warwick Castle! This full‑day expedition will give our young knights and nobles the chance to explore towering battlements, ancient history, and thrilling castle experiences that will bring their learning to life.
Travel Arrangements
· We will depart Gossey Lane Academy at approximately 9:00am, arriving at Warwick Castle for 10:00am.
· We will leave Warwick Castle at approximately 2:30pm, returning to school by around 3:15pm.
Our royal travellers will journey aboard the MAT minibuses, and to ensure all pupils can be easily recognised as members of our school kingdom, they must attend in their full school uniform.
As part of their entitlement to Universal Infant Free School Meals, each child will be provided with a packed lunch, so no lunch preparations will be needed on the day.
Cost and Payment
The cost of this royal adventure is £10.83, payable via Arbor. We kindly ask parents to make this voluntary contribution towards the cost of the visit.
While contributions are voluntary, we must inform you that if we do not receive sufficient contributions, the trip may be at risk of being cancelled. These contributions help us provide enriching and memorable experiences for our pupils, and we truly appreciate the support of our school families.
All payments must be made by Friday 1st May 2026.
We look forward to a day filled with discovery, excitement, and memories fit for a royal scrapbook! Should you have any questions, please contact the school office.
